Education
Currently working on a post-master's degree in School Psychology. Anticipated graduation date: May 2017. I have a bachelor's degree in Psychology and Early Childhood Education and Special Education. since May 2014. I achieved a GPA higher than 3.8 in all of these programs and graduated with honors.
Experience
I am a particularly good writer. I have always received A's on my papers. Therefore, my professors have entrusted me to edit and grade my peers' papers in the past. Although I have experience with children of all ages, I have mostly been involved with the 4-10 year old age range. I have tutored students in college prep, writing, phonics, grammar, reading comprehension, and elementary math. I'd like to tutor your child because I enjoy seeing the look on their face when they finally understand a concept and can do just as well or better than their peers. It's truly a unique feeling. My resume varies from teacher to substitute teacher to camp counselor to child care coordinator. Therefore, I have a variety of experiences with children in all different settings.

Hobbies
I enjoy getting to know my students so that I can incorporate their favorite things and abilities into the tutoring session. I always end or start with something "fun" so that the student feels that the session isn't such a drag. I also make sure I boost their confidence by starting with tasks they can complete with ease. We gradually build up to the more harder tasks and by the end, they are able to excel all alone! I enjoy the challenge of seeing what works and what doesn't. When I'm not tutoring, I am at the park with my 8-year-old or reading a good book.
