At the present time, I am working as a Language Arts teacher in a middle school for gifted and talented students. I have lived in Elizabeth, New Jersey since I was a child and attended school here. I earned my bachelor's degree in Psychology and my master's degree in Teaching from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Throughout college and high school I enjoyed tutoring children in elementary school. I currently work with individuals and small groups of students, primarily teaching writing skills and reading, and helping them wherever they are finding learning challenges. My philosophy is that all things are possible with dedication and hard work. I try to tailor my methods to the needs of the student, helping them to understand the material. I enjoy being a teacher and a tutor because I love learning. In my free time, I enjoy arts and crafts, reading, drawing, dancing, musical theater, and spending time with family and friends. I also enjoy traveling and am always up for a new adventure. I am available to help you with essay writing and editing, grammar and mechanics, as well as study skills and organization.
