I love writing and storytelling, and I love to help others develop their skills as writers and find their voice. I attended UNC - Chapel Hill for my bachelor's degree and for my masters degree, and I studied literature and drama. When I work with a student, I encourage them to communicate openly so that we can have meaningful conversations about writing assignments, which help students develop a voice. This voice comes through not only in writing, but also in vocal communication. I want students to be invested in their assignments, because this helps students become motivated to learn. When students are motivated, they have fun and retain information. When I have free time, I like to do yoga, sing, go to the theater, and watch movies.
