I'm a very patient person who gets along well with kids. I am able to communicate effectively with younger students, and I can explain topics repeatedly and attempt different approaches for as long as it takes until my students feel comfortable in their understanding of a concept. I want students to understand the concepts to go with any subject, as opposed to memorizing formulas. This gives students the ability to apply their knowledge and think critically as they figure out how to address problems. I also help students understand why a concept is important and how is used in the real world. I can tutor algebra, calculus, elementary and middle school math, pre-calculus, trigonometry, physics, English grammar and syntax, and Russian. In my free time, I enjoy fitness, reading, and sports.
